Winn Summit Strategies is the owner and operator of the Center for Stability in Motion. WSS was formed by Angie Winn in response to over 25 years of engaging with leaders and organizations who desire to live out their mission with stability, health and impact, in the for-profit, not-for-profit, and ministry realms.
With a Master's Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and many certifications in assessments, coaching, and training, Angie Winn has strengthened leaders and teams through strategy, coaching, training, and organizational-wide performance management systems.
While serving as the Vice-President of Leadership and Organizational Development of CNL Financial Group, Angie had a courtroom experience that would forever change the trajectory of her life. This experience set her on a path to engage with leaders of business, government, church, and non-profit for the purpose of transforming distressed communities. She led the research project Seeking the Welfare of the City, co-founded a non-profit organization The Polis Institute, and served on the Board of a global organization, Leadership Foundations, who works across cities on behalf of the poor and vulnerable.
Eventually, she left the corporate world and joined Desire Street Ministries, working along side inner-city ministries and leaders - the street saints- strengthening their impact and helping them persevere for the long-term.
Along this journey, Angie witnessed the tolls of leadership and ministry, and experienced her own degree of burnout. Her “calling” and purpose overwhelmed her life. Facing the decline of health, and challenges with relationships and peace, another dimension of living and leadership began to reveal itself - a way that changed her stride from aimless striving to intentional, discerned movement towards impact. Stability in Motion.
Angie began to dig deeper into the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual elements that she found necessary for herself and others to be able to thrive and persevere on their journeys. As she found herself being asked to teach and lead what she was experiencing, she created Stability in Motion, and began offering workshops, retreats, and coaching. She became certified in yoga, and opened two Centers for Stability in Motion at Summit Solitude Retreat House in Breckenridge, CO and Loft on Main in Windermere, FL .
She earned her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Florida, and her Master's Degree from the University of Central Florida. She holds certifications in various personality assessments (Myers-Briggs, Kolbe, EQ), executive coaching, and yoga. She has constructed assessments and created tools including the Thriving Index, Stability in Motion Assessment, and the Organizational Engagement Strategy Process. Although a strong believer of God and a follower of Jesus, Angie believes integrating your own spirituality is essential to thriving, regardless of the origin of one's faith. Therefore, she consults and coaches people of all beliefs, helping them integrate their own form of spirituality into their lives. Retreats tailored specifically to Christians will be noted in the description.
Her passions include supporting leaders working with leaders of distressed populations, the "street saints", and helping these populations experience economic and social justice.
Her fun includes hiking, snow skiing, boating, yoga, biking, and hanging out with her husband, two boys and her dog.
Her deep desire is to help people find their own stability in motion- so they can run with perseverance on their journey to the summit.
